Volodymyr Sayenko is a Partner at SAYENKO KHARENKO. He has practised law since 1994 and is admitted in both Ukraine and the State of New York (USA). He specialises in competition, M&A, corporate and securities law, advising clients throughout the entire business lifecycle, from formation and day-to-day operations to major transactions and exit.

In the competition law sphere, he has advised multinational corporations, including Apple, Coca-Cola and Philip Morris, on Ukrainian antitrust compliance matters and has represented clients before the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in investigations involving Amadeus, Sanofi, Visa and Western Union. He has also handled hundreds of merger clearances for global transactions involving AB InBev, BASF, Goldman Sachs, Société Générale and Syngenta, among others.

He has been recognised as a leading Competition/Antitrust lawyer by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and The Legal 500, and was named Competition/Antitrust "Lawyer of the Year" in Ukraine by Best Lawyers.
