Andrew Finch is Co-Chair of Cravath’s Antitrust Practice and a partner in the Litigation Department. An accomplished antitrust lawyer, Mr. Finch previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Antitrust Division as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Acting Assistant Attorney General. In these roles, he managed the entirety of the Antitrust Division’s operations, encompassing merger reviews, civil and criminal antitrust investigations, litigation and appeals.
Commended as “one of the top antitrust lawyers in the country if not the world,” Mr. Finch is consistently ranked by Chambers USA in Band 1 for Antitrust in New York. His tenure in private practice includes representing clients in complex antitrust and commercial litigation concerning exclusive dealing, interlocking directorates, resale price maintenance and trade secrets; handling merger reviews; and advising on antitrust investigations by the DOJ, the Federal Trade Commission and other regulators.
