David Altschuler is the Associate General Counsel for Competition at OpenAI. In that role, David provides strategic support on a wide range of global antitrust matters, including regulatory engagements and inquiries, M&A and other strategic transactions, and counseling on OpenAI's business activities. Prior to joining OpenAI, David served as the Vice President & Associate General Counsel for Antitrust at Salesforce and spent over a decade at the DOJ Antitrust Division, where he was an Assistant Chief of the Defense, Industrials, and Aerospace Section. David also worked as a litigation associate at large law firms in Washington, D.C., and New York.
