Mette works in Frontier’s competition practice and heads our Brussels office. She has been working as an economic consultant in this area since 1999. She handles competition cases across Frontier’s Brussels, Cologne/Berlin and London offices, advising clients on merger cases, cartel cases including damages evaluation, litigation cases and the assessment of market power and abusive conduct. She has worked on a large number of competition cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities and courts, particularly in Germany, but also in other countries such as Austria, Denmark and the UK, spanning a wide range of industries. Interesting cases she has advised on include Google’s acquisition of Wiz, London Stock Exchange’s acquisition of Refinitiv (both European Commission, Phase II), and abuse of dominance investigations by the Bundeskartellamt in relation to Facebook (now Meta).
