Hara Nikolopoulou is a lawyer and has served as Vice President of the Hellenic Competition Commission since 2022. She joined the Commission in 2011 and, over the years, held various senior positions, including Director, Head of Unit in the Directorate of Legal Service and Head of International Relations. Before joining the Hellenic Competition Commission, she worked as a competition lawyer at the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission, as a competition lawyer at major law firms in Athens and Brussels, and as a trainee at the European Commission on state aid. Hara has more than 20 years of experience in the enforcement of competition law, having handled multiple cartel, abuse of dominance, and merger control cases across a wide range of industries.
