Dr. Andreas Bergmann is Deputy Head of Unit in DG COMP’s horizontal State aid policy and case support unit. He joined the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission in 2016 and has held several positions covering State aid and merger control. Prior to joining the European Commission, he worked as a management consultant. He holds a PhD in European law and obtained master’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris and the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland
