Luuk Bressers serves as Associate General Counsel on Meta’s Competition Team, a position he has held since 2022. Based in Meta’s Amsterdam office, Mr. Bressers leads on a wide range of complex regulatory investigations across the EMEA region, and provides strategic counsel on competition law matters, including those related to artificial intelligence and compliance with the Digital Markets Act. Prior to joining Meta, Mr. Bressers was the Global Competition Director at ASML, the Netherlands-based leader in semiconductor equipment technology, where he oversaw global antitrust strategy and regulatory engagement. He began his legal career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in Brussels, following his graduation from the College of Europe in Brugge in 2007. Mr. Bressers brings extensive experience in navigating high-stakes regulatory environments and has a proven track record of advising multinational corporations on competition law and policy.
