Madeeha Anthony is Competition Counsel in bp’s Global Competition & Regulatory Compliance team, based in Abu Dhabi. Since joining bp in London, Madeeha has advised on competition law matters across bp’s global business and has been based in the UAE since 2024, supporting operations across MENA, Asia Pacific and Europe. Madeeha advises on a broad range of competition law issues, including information exchange, complex vertical and horizontal arrangements, abuse of dominance, merger control and joint ventures. She has extensive behavioural experience and also regularly advises on competition law aspects of strategic transactions and commercial arrangements across the energy sector. Prior to joining bp, Madeeha practised competition law at the international law firm CMS in London.
