Catriona Hatton is Co-Chair of the firm's Global Antitrust and Competition Law group and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. She has over three decades of experience advising on EU and international merger control aspects of high-stakes global transactions, representing parties in many of the most high-profile, market-leading cases. Catriona is Senior Vice-Chair of the International Bar Association's Antitrust Section and co-editor of the leading IBA/Concurrences book on Gun Jumping in Merger Control, a multi-jurisdictional guide.Outside of the merger area, Catriona has broad experience in advising clients on general compliance in their day-to-day business activities and representing defendants and complainants in investigations by the European Commission and national authorities including in connection with alleged infringements resulting from parallel imports, no poach and abuse of dominance. She advises clients in a number of sectors from mining, oilfield services and chemicals, to media and technology.
