Clare is Senior Competition Counsel at Google where she leads the EMEA team navigating compliance with Europe's complex landscape of competition law and emerging digital regulations. She played a pivotal role in shaping Google's compliance with the Digital Markets Act (DMA), representing the company before the European Commission as well as in public workshops. In the UK, Clare oversees Google's engagement with the Digital Markets Unit (DMU) and has managed the company's response to the CMA’s significant market investigations into mobile ecosystems and cloud. Clare holds a Masters-in-Law from Harvard Law School and is a qualified Barrister, having studied at Trinity College Dublin and Sciences Po, Paris
