Kim is Co-Head of the Competition Litigation practice at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and a partner in the firm’s competition, regulation and trade group in London. Kim specialises in all aspects of EU and UK competition law, with particular expertise in competition litigation. She has a leading private enforcement practice and is widely recognised for her work on high-profile competition class actions, including carriage disputes, acting for defendants in precedent-setting follow-on and standalone damages claims before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, where she has also appeared as an advocate. Kim is also an experienced co-ordinating counsel, devising defence strategies across European jurisdictions. Kim advises a range of clients, including in the technology, transport, aviation, financial services, consumer goods and industrial sectors. She is a committee member of the UK Competition Law Association and regularly speaks at international conferences. Kim has published extensively on competition issues, including with respect to leniency and follow-on litigation, and is the co-other of the competition class actions chapter in Sweet & Maxwells Class Actions in England and Wales textbook.
