Mr. Daeyoung Kim is an antitrust and economic policy expert and an Attorney at Law admitted in Washington D.C., currently serving as the Director of the Special Investigation Team at the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC). Since joining the KFTC in 2010, He has built extensive expertise across key antitrust enforcement areas, successfully handling e-commerce investigations, international cooperation, and litigation as General Counsel. Mr. Kim has played pivotal roles in shaping competition policy, having served as Senior Deputy Director in the Cartel Investigation Bureau and the Business Trade & M&A Bureau. Equipped with international legal qualifications and comprehensive administrative expertise, Mr. Kim holds a Bachelor of Economics from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Law from Korea Open National University. He further expanded his global perspective with a Global Master of Public Administration from Seoul National University and a Master of Science in Management from American University.
